Music Bio and experience

Carl Reppucci was taught by his father at an early age of four. His family are also well known musicians: his father Carl Reppucci, jazz pianist Air Force Radio shows 1950s; Uncle Thomas Reppucci, aka Tony Navarro -accordionist in the North End; and cousin Thomas Reppucci, saxophone /flautist.

Recently Carl recorded music for the dance scene in the Disney movie "The Finest Hours". Carl also appears on the stage with the band during that dance scene.

Carl was the pianist for Broadway shows in high school and eventually a wedding band in the Peabody MA area known as the Lamy Brothers. Thomas Lamy, trumpet, was the leader of that band. They played many wedding functions in the local area.

From big bands, with the Gene Krupa Tribute band featuring the late Ben Anthony on drums and the Dave Rasmussen Big Band. Carl was a featured piano soloist on the Dave Rasmussen big band CD-album "Not So Tenderly".  Pianist with great saxophonist Lance Bryant (http://www.coloroffilm.com/2007/09/kay-bourne-arts-report-issue-44/) in the Sacred Jazz Quartet at the Andover Baptist Church in Andover MA.

A featured pianist with a great local area band called the Jump "n" Jive Review lead by Rico Barr (vocalist/drummer). This great band is a fully functional entertainment/dancing/listening band. The band plays jazz arrangements, rock, classic rock and some Loius Prima.

And other great musicians, Sharon Jones - jazz duo to rock n' blues; Joe Brogan, vocal /saxophone; Wendy Nottonson, jazz vocalist; Sandy Bedrosian, pop/jazz vocalist

Carl has directed many functions at the Stage Neck Inn and other venues, from weddings to corporate events. Carl has had three bands of different styles at the Stage Neck Inn for New Years Eve and Valentines day dinner dances for many years.
